Things I would like to know the answer to...
but don't (part 1)
While being well aware of the fashion disasters of my youth, the flares of the mid 70's spring immediately and painfully to mind, one thing I really cannot understand is the need for today's youf to expose their under garments and have the crotch of their trousers somewhere around their knees. Quite apart from being rather unsightly, it must be murder trying to escape from the police on foot when you have trapped your hips in a straitjacket, no wonder the prisons are full to bursting point.

A colleage told me it has been made illegal somewhere in the States - a hefty fine or 6 months in prison.
As you point out nabbing offenders shouldn't be too difficult for the sheriff and his deputies. Not only is there the restriction of movement aspect there is also all thatlovely exposed nappy material to grab hold of too.
The PFY wears his trousers like that. We just see it as an advantage as it makes the towel flicking more painful.

I must admit I've made an effort not to coment on "street fashion" purely cos of what I've worn in the past!
Tartan Bondage trousers spring to mind...
